Hedera Hashgraph: third-generation DLT bringing down Blockchain
Distributed ledger technology (DLT) has the potential to disrupt and revolutionize established markets in a variety of industries. There are five major challenges that must be addressed before distributed ledgers can be broadly accepted and utilized by businesses: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. The hashgraph technology is currently patented; the only authorized ledger is Hedera Hashgraph, which is designed to address the needs of mainstream markets. Hedera is a public distributed ledger technology (DLT) platform with the goal of creating a trustworthy and secure cyberspace without the use of centralized parties. Hedera's mission is not to provide a cryptocurrency, but to deliver a reliable and trustworthy platform for a wide range of decentralized enterprise-grade applications.
